As a total beginner to the ardumower project I'm currently facing the same problem as others have already mentioned in the forum: What do I have to order from the shop to gather all parts for a functioning mower? As one main purpose of this project is to impose as few restrictions as possible, this leads to a plethora of options one might possibly want buy, but I think most people will be happy if it runs as expected and the forum can help you out if anything goes wrong.
I'd like to compile a list of items one has to order to build the most popular variants. If I find enough acceptance and contribution I'm volunteering to transfer the list into the wiki.
I suggest tree variants of the mower (same wording in German):
1. core: Just the bare minimum: moves around and cuts grass
2. basic: core + some very common modules and modifications most people expect from a mower
3. extended: core + (optionally) basic + some not so common modules and modifications
This is a first draft of what I associate with each variant meant as an invitation to further discussion. In my next post I'll do my best to map those items to the shop.
