Hallo Markus,
)
[quote = "Renegadge" post = 16513] Hello Mark,
a series production by 3D printing is certainly too expensive, but the case could be thermoformed. Is definitely cheaper.
What I noticed is the distance to the ground in front. That looks very low. [/ Quote]
A thermoformed housing would be great. But you would need quite a few testers, mind. 1 year experience and optimize.
And then find someone who makes an affordable form. Costs many thousands of euros and the production must have a certain number of items so the price per case is right.
I have been dreaming about it for a long time
I will soon buy a portal milling machine, my dream would be a combination of PE-HD plates and 3D printer parts.
For example, a base plate on which all 3/4 engines sit, the front rollers are attached to it .... just everything that needs to be robustly fastened.
And then for the eye a nice chassis from the printer over it.
If the router is there, I would also like to revise the standard chassis. I think there are many improvements possible. (also for the eye
)
PS the distance to the ground is such a degree migration, the deeper the safer. If your lawn / field does not participate, you could also make distance pieces under the suspension of the front roller.
