I'm also not happy with the measurements of the Ultrasonics. If I activate it, the mower stops randomly because of very low values. I tested already different sets (one, two, three sensors, changed them, etc.) I'm wondering, if there is a working solution for HC-SR04 at all. I read something about issues with HC-SR04, if the module is too tight in the chassis and the sound is transfered direct to the trigger part. Any hints for that?
I thought, that the mentioned DYP-ME007(Y) are more reliable than the HC-SR04 and bought two of them. The library NewPing mentioned DYP-ME007 as compatible module. My hopes were endless.
But I had no luck to get values from that. I researched reasons for that:

[li]Users report from a chance of 6 out of 10 for a working module[/li]
[li]the modules are shipped in different revisions, but it's not easy to find the actual one[/li]
[li]some sensors uses RX/TX[/li]
[li]some sensors uses PWM for some reasons[/li]
[li]some sensors uses the normal pins[/li]
[/ul]
I terminated the project for the moment. But I am highly interested into a solution for ultrasonic (HC-SR04 or DYP-ME007). Ultrasonic in general works perfect in my car (spare part price for the complete PDC set was 120€) and I cannot imagine, that it isn't reliable in the ArduMower.
