Maybe a 'simpler' idea than a pure rain detector . But probably not perfect :
By using an esp8266 coupled with a relay on the output of the charging station.
The esp 8266 get the local weather data on the net and 'barely' know if it will be raining or not .
If it the case it shuts down the output of the charger, so the ardumower stays on the base.
But maybe the idea had been submitted on the german forum :lol:
