Dioden PCB harmful (schädlich)?

Hi,
I followed the video and pictures of other people, so I also soldered two times MBR1045 (D3 and D4 like in the video) and also D5 and D6 (1N4148) just like the video...
But I don't think that I will use "dropsensors"...
And I have the charging system of my old "Wiper one"...
Do I have to remove this diodes or can they stay...
Are they harmful?...

Thanks

you can find the schematic under following link:
https://github.com/Ardumower/ardumo...1.2_geschlossen/ardumower mega shield svn.pdf
MBR1045 are used for reverse polarity protection. I think you don't need D3 if you don't use the Laderegelung. If you don't connect something to P31 and P21 D5 and D6 don't care.

For D4 take a look in the schematic. it depends if you want to supply the DC/DC converters with the charging voltage or battery voltage while charging.

What is best to do? Any advise on that?...
This schematic is to difficult for me... (if I see the coil of the relais, I think it is short circuited bij the diode D10... :) )
thanks

If you put your charging system at connector P42 you can do following.

Throw away the Laderegelung. Bridge D7, D3 and D4.
Open JP6 and close JP7.
Under this conditions the charging current will flow like I show with the red line.
And the DC/DC converter will be supplied by the batterie - blue line.
Maybe you don't need U5 also if you don't use pinChargingBilanz in the software.
Then you have to bridge pin 5 and 4 of U5.
I don't use this board. But this is how I would do it.

Thanks a lot Roland,

Now, I am starting to understand that kind of schematics.
I use a more recent one of 2016 04 28 (see attachment). There is a jumper (JP17) parallel with D4 (MBR1045).
Following the video's and pictures on the site, I already fixed D4...
Should I remove it?
Or can I just put JP17... and, in this case, am I losing power then (voltage drop of diode...)

Thanks again, :)

Oh, you are rigth. Sorry for the wrong schematic.
You can bridge D4 by closing JP17. Then D4 don't care and you don't have to remove D4.
