Chines silly mower to less silly one.

Hello all !
I'm here because I've this mower: https://goo.gl/photos/GSt2QWR7V2HMQVMGA It's a good one, a mechanical good one. But it's not a efficient software.

And i wonder if all parts are compatible to ardumower or not ?
It's not that I haven't read all the Wiki yet. It's that even find a subject with this kind of mower in the forum is hard.
Is there anyone to give me links of Germans posts about my system ? I hope that google translate and pictures will be sufficient.

I'm pretty sure I've already seen this kind of mower in the german part of the forum (the inside view), may be the one of Stefan ?, you'll have to spend some time there, looking at the pictures. Anyway and because everything is open, you can always adapt the software to a particular hardware. Different drivers are available in the software, so if you are lucky you 'll find yours B) . Or you may change some sensors, most of them are cheap in the shop, and go straight with the software.

I think i have to open all the tread then... I'll do that with a computer instead of a phone.

It's quite hard to see all the features that we can have with each component. I've read that gpa is only useful for big garden. But do the compass will help my mower to mow in straits lines ?
As I look, I start thinking that this project will be useful when my actual electronic will fail. Not right now. My mower won't be less silly, right ?

Definitively better with a computer and a large screen :)

The compass will help a lot to keep straigth on line, specially if you have slopes/holes in your ground.

Good usual GPS used alone have roughly a precision of 4 m (with no tree or big wall nearby). Then it just depends if your wife loves her flowers :oops: :whistle:

There are many people (including myself) trying to combine gps data with others (sensors fusion, differential gps, ...) but actually it is all in development state.

I cannot answer because I don't know how "silly" is your mower, but what I am shure it will stay so forever. But with the ardumower it always get better and more flexible with new software versions and you will be able to control and improve also by yourself.

I'm back !
What's new since these two years ?
I have a garden again, with two little zones. So, i wish i could have a nice mower with two bases. I going to read all the english documentation again. Feel free to tell me the best of these two years ! ;)

(i think i have a problem with the forum, it won't work in english, german only whatever i do. Am i alone in this case ?)
