Brushless Driver Board voltage regulator(?) gets hot without load

I was trying to get all motors drivers assembled and tested when I noticed that the brushless board gets really hot in one spot.
Even with everything unplugged, just the power wires to the board from the battery, it starts burning instantly.

Is this normal?

I tested it with AT+E and it seemed to work fine, there was a serial warning about too much current, each driver was supposedly drawing 6 amps, though only one was connnected.

I have configured sunray correctly, now it does read amps, even without the drivers conected it reads that the mower motor is drawing 0.25 amps and the other two 0.1 each.
The app reports that there are 0.5 amps being drawn at idle.
I measured it with a multimeter and the board is actually drawing 0.03 amps.

Any ideas? Im dont know much about electronics so not sure how to troubleshoot, the board feels like its going to melt itself down, I dont think thats normal.
