Perimeter Too Far Away error

I am trying to get my mower working after just recently building it. When testing the mower I am getting a "Perimeter too Far Away" error on the serial monitor. My perimeter wire is about 2 feet away.
What do you think is wrong. Any hep would be greatly appreciated.

Check the receiver .
Have you shunt the capacitor ?
The poti need to be on max (right or left i don't remember, so test the 2 position)
Check the sender .
The yellow led need to be ON.
Now into arduremote/setting/perimeter/ set use to YES and check mag : normaly -2000 at 5 cm inside the wire.
