PCB 1.4 too tall for PCB1.3 replacement

Another question or confirmation as I did not find anything about this in the manuals. Has the case for mower with PCB1.4 gotten taller or am I just supposed to clip off the upper and lower part of the PCB1.4 to fit it in place of PCB1.3? I think there is some sort of carving on the board to cut it, but not gonna try my luck bending it before a confirmation.

In the Assembly instructions you can see in every pic that this parts are cut off
ive done it also and it still works as supposed

@der metty Yes, I did see the pictures in the manual without the extra edges, but didn't find a word about removing them. Thank you very much for confirming this! Will try to carefully remove them.

Edit: All 3 PCB 1.3's came without these extra strips. That's the confusion on my part.

Simply break off carefully from both sides with the pliers.
