PCB 1.2: where to start?

Hi,
I am starting a build of my 1.2 pcb and have downloaded all relevant instructions (that have been translated to english!) and gone through many of the threads on the forum. The one thing I am unsure of though is what order should I assemble the board in or does it not matter? I think it would be best if I solder the connector strips as they are all the same height. Any recommendations are welcome!

Immer mit den kleinsten Bauteilen beginnen. Widerstände, Dioden. Wenn du die Platine dann umdrehst ums sie auf der Rückseite zu verlöten fallen sie dir dann nicht raus weil sie auf der Tischplatte aufliegen.

Always start with the smallest components. Resistors, diodes. If you turn the circuit board then to solder it on the back they do not fall out because they lie on the table plate.

Thanks Uwe!This is my first big soldering project and I dont even know the obvious things! I will follow the same order as the videos for the V5 board.
