I just got an idea for my skydiving club and started to browse the web for info. We have a HUGE grass field at our airfield. Sometimes a guy in our club makes logos in the grass for fun that we can see when flying our parachutes over the area. He makes the logos by not cutting the grass in certain regions.
My idea is to do this with more precision and maybe sell advertising in the grass. As a skydiver I can easily take cool photos from the air. Have people tried to cut advanced patterns with a robotic mower? Is it something that people work on? It should be a interesting feature even for non skydivers now when the drones are cheap.
Here is an example from our field last summer. E-E is our airplane (SE-GEE)
