Alternate Microcontroller for non robot mower

What the market needs is a simpler version of this microcontroller idea for push or self propelled walk behind cordless electric mowers. One that is only tasked with cordless electric mower battery monitoring and potentially damaging current level avoidance. The 3 things that can dramatically shorten the life and deplete the performance capacity of any battery are overcharging, excessive discharge and overloading. The overcharging is pretty well eliminated with the designs of current battery chargers for cordless mowers. The latter 2, excessive discharge and overloading, remain unaddressed. The latter can also shorten the life of any mower's motor. The only way to address these is incorporation of a microcontroller in the mower capable of interrupting the power to the motor and automatic visual indication of battery low charge condition to the operator. Ideally it would incorporate USB downloadable and app presentable data recording.
Actually that microcontroller might be best located in the battery pack, data accessible via USB connection to the separate from the mower charger most of which for current Li-ion battery systems are large enough to physically hold the slid in and locked in battery pack. It would be necessary to at least have a passive device in the mower or other piece of battery powered yard equipment that would transmit the equipment item specific factors into the battery pack's microcontroller memory for operation of the auto-shutoff function.
