Hello,

For interested users, we will provide 'Beta' firmwares, so you can try out updated Sunray versions for your Alfred (so, before we make a Beta version an official release). There is not guarantee that Beta versions will work. You can always go back to the lastest release version by clicking on 'Firmware->Apply update' in the Sunray App.

To apply a beta version, copy the beta version URL below, enter it in the Sunray App firmware menu and click on 'Custom update' in the Sunray App.

Beta version 1.0.288:

  • more stable Bluetooth data transfers
  • more stable WiFi network connections
  • robot will not autostart-mowing if coming from IDLE status or if pressed 'STOP' button in the App
  • robot runs faster if more away (>5m) from dock position
  • robot does not ignore GPS anymore if more than >2m away from dock position
  • kidnap (gps jump detection) ist no longer limited to 20cm if robot is more than >2m from dock position
  • several code cleanups

Version 1.0.303: I2C bugfix (sporadic firmware crashes)
 
Version 1.0.305: improved dock touch recovery (robot will slightly move if charging contacts are bad)
 
Version 1.0.310: more robust (RTK-based) course estimation. Robot will ignore RTK-point (for 2-point course estimation) if there was an IMU rotation while measuring this RTK point. As a consequence of this improved sensor evaluation, the line tracking controller (Stanley) will work better. If your robot sometimes mows larger curves instead of straight lines, this update should bugfix it.
