    Paddy's Ardumower Arctic Hare

Hi, I just dropped the PWM to about 235 or so. It helped quite significantly with the noise, but still cuts well. Any other upgrade plans, as the spring approaches (I'm afraid that there will be no winter here)?

I'm planning to use my old garage too. The charging contacts however - is the interesting part. I use the one with micro switches. And just by bending those metal legs on the switches it is possible to change "sensitivity" quite radically, _without changing_ the trigger part.

For a moment I thought that I will have a chance to glance at your station implementation. No luck this time :) One thing that I noticed is that, at least in my case, the bumper is VERY sensitive to the switch pin angle. In my case, if I bend the metal pin with pliers just a bit (maybe 1-2 mm...

What are your plans regarding charging (station) for the mower? On my previous version, I've used two metal plates on the top and two pieces of metal hanging from the top in the charging station. Not sure if this approach will be suitable with the 3d printed one.

Who said that hobby has to be less expensive or pay off :D

I've printed the new bumper box, but I'd like to start assembling it together with perimeter sensor and, maybe, even US sensors. I noticed that you have perimeter sensor box in one of the images, but it is not yet available on the thingiverse. Can we get the STL for that one too ? :) And what...

Do you have the design for the hall sensor & magnet placement as well?

Thanks a lot for details on the hall sensor based bumper. I'll try to build one soon. Just one question: have you considered placing the magnets and sensors somewhere on the motor box and the back part of the shell (there's even space for that, just behind the cover)? Technically, any frontal...

Good to hear that Hall sensor based approach works. I'm very keen to see the circuit and the part list. Do you have plans or ideas where to put it on the chassis as well? somewhere between the motor box and back part of the cover I guess? Do you think it will be enough to register the little...

I think there's no passing wheel in the Shop. If I get it right, it should be 75mm diameter wheel, but I couldn't find any with 50x40mm. And the ones that I've tried (attaching using 2 bolts), they touch the shell when robot goes reverse. For exmaple, I've tried this one...

Yes please, I'd like to know more regarding dampers :)

Connecting 2 mow motors on PCB1.3 for 2.0 chassis?

Hi, Anyone has an idea (if it is possible at all) how to properly connect two mow motors (from the shop) to the PCB 1.3 on 3d printer chassis (aka V2)? Original (V1) chassis has 1 mower motor and it is attached via motor protection circuit to both outputs of MC33926. At the same time it...

Do you plan to print the rim (the one with the teeth) separately and then attach to wheel?

I have outer shell based on your stl's ready: printed and almost fully assembled (still some screws on a todo list). If you're planning to use US sensors and buld the boxes later, then I'll wait, 'cause I'm totally not good at fusion and HW design :) Regarding usage US: on the V1 chassis I have...
